Starting from 16 February 2005, PCCW-HKT Telephone Limited, together with Hong Kong Telecommunications (HKT) Limited since 28 November 2008, have been providing subscribers’ telephone number and address information (limited to telephone number, street number, street name and, if applicable, the name of building) to the Hong Kong Fire Services Department for their prompt identification of the location where the emergency calls are made. Please note that no full address or subscriber name has ever been or will be disclosed. The purpose is to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of the dispatch of emergency resources to the scene of the emergency.

If you do not want the provision of such information to the Hong Kong Fire Services Department, please forward your written request with remark of ‘CLAD Opt-Out’ on the envelope to GPO Box 9896 and provide the following details for our processing of your request.
