The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing the portfolio of existing/ new products, formulating and implementing product plans and actions. He/She will take full responsibility for the whole product development cycle from feasibility study to product launch and maintenance plan. He/she also needs to have excellent business and marketing sense in applying available technologies, development & support resources to meet customer requirements. One also requires to have excellent communication skills to collaborate with Marketing, technical and operational staff in products/service development & support.
On this particular position, the candidate will be responsible for the solution planning, customization and management of Smart Home solutions for the residential market, targeting for wholesale opportunities. Liaison with property developers, equipment vendors, production of solution proposals & managing contractor relationship are part of his / her routine. Capability to provide timely responses to tenders and strong project management skill is a prerequisite.
Your Role
- To work with business development, engineering and other supporting teams in managing the full cycle from business proposal, project tendering, to project implementation and after sales support for wholesale projects
- To develop quality technical standard, operational procedures and best practices
- To take charge of customization design and implementation from project specifications to delivery
- To liaise with suppliers and co-ordinate with internal parties in solving technical & usability problems
- To manage the scope of solution offerings to maximise the Company’s opportunities in winning new business, while controlling the risk exposure and cost of development
To Succeed in this Role
- Degree holder in Telecommunication, Information Technology, Building Services or other engineering disciplines
- At least 7 years solid experience in product development / project management of digital or communications product solutions
- Knowledge in ELV (Extra Low Voltage) products, building management, automation, IP network products and audio-visual systems is preferred
- General knowledge in in internet/ mobile applications development
- Self-initiated, highly motivated, meticulous and result-oriented
- Highly organized and able to perform under pressure
- Good command of both spoken and written Chinese and English
- Adequate Presentation skills and a good team player
